Depending on your individual treatment plan, we may suggest a dental crown to cover the incision site.

Your implant will not be able to withstand the force of a normal bite until the post has firmly attached itself to your jawbone. This initial healing period varies greatly in length from patient to patient, but usually lasts three to six months.
